Days and Times (updated for 2026)

From January 2026, St James Park Kindergarten will move to the Department for Education’s Full Day Model.

Our group names and allocated days stay the same for 2026.

Blue Gum Group

Mondays & Tuesdays
8:15am – 3:45pm (both days)

Wattle Group

Wednesdays & Thursdays
8:15am – 3:45pm (both days)

Looking Ahead to 2027

From January 2027, Wattle Group will shift to Thursdays & Fridays.

Families enrolling mid-year in 2026 (for Wattle) will begin on Wed/Thu, then transition to Thu/Fri in 2027.

Fridays at Kindergarten

Fridays will be used for educator collaboration, planning, and professional learning.

Our Playgroup will continue to run on Fridays from 9:00 – 10:30am.

Preschool Fees

The parent contribution is $190 per term. Fees cover the costs of cleaning, grounds maintenance, art supplies, learning resources and administration costs.

Early Entry

Your child may be eligible for an early entry to their preschool year if they

• *have additional needs or a disability
• *are learning English as an additional language or dialect

Access is decided on a case-by-case basis.
